Description
Marina Barrage is a good place for relaxation and a break from the busy city life. Marina Barrage provides a Water Storage and Flood Control system with a beautiful multi-purpose attraction to roam around with peace. The green roof is also accessible from the main complex by a lift. Marina Barrage has nine steel crests, which release the water into the sea and prevents floods from coming into the city during heavy rains.

Where to park -
- Marina Barrage Car Park, 8 Marina Gardens Drive (018951).
- Weekdays and Saturday before 6pm.
- 2.5 cents per minute first 5 hours, 5 cents per minute subsequently till 6pm.
- Weekdays and Saturday after 6pm
- 2 cents per minute till 12am, 5 cents per minute till 5am.

- Grace period of 10 minutes.

Best spots to take pictures -
Enjoy a relaxing morning walk along the promenade, see the Singapore skyline and capture its beauty. There is an abundance of dew and cool fresh air. The sun rising from the east is also a picturesque view to capture. The changing sky color during sunrise and sunset is also a unique view in the backdrop of the city skyline.
The dam that separates the sea water and the reservoir is one of the most preferable spots for clicking pictures, with many vessels parked in the background.
How to reach there: -
1.MRT + bus:
- Alight at Bayfront MRT station and walk 20 minutes to Marina Barrage.
- Alight at Marina Bay or Downtown MRT station and take bus 400 towards Marina Barrage.
2.Car:Drive towards Marina Barrage Car Park from Central Boulevard, Marina Coastal Expressway, or ECP highway as well.

● The 11,000 square meter green roof on Marina Barrage is the perfect place to picnic, relax, and engage in recreational activities such as kite flying and ball games.
