Hort Park is located at 33 Hyderabad Road (Postal Code119578) which is in the Southwestern part of Singapore.
Description
Officially launched by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in May 2008, Hort Park is a 23-hectare park which is a one-stop gardening resource hub with gardening, recreational, educational and research activities. It is very popular among nature lovers, the gardening community, school children and people who love outdoor exercise.
There is a nearby track to connect to Kent Ridge Park where you can go for a longer walk to explore more of the natural beauty.

How to reach there:
Hort Park is open daily from 6am to 11pm.
There are multiple options to reach Hort Park:
- ● Walk from nearest MRT station Labrador Park CC27 (~1 km).
- ● Take bus services 51, 61, 93, 100, 120, 166 or 963 towards the “After Hort Park” bus stop and walk around 100m.
- ● Drive to Hort Park car park at 33 Hyderabad Rd (Postal Code 119578).

Together with the washrooms, vending machines for drinks and snacks are located at these locations as well.
Best spots to take pictures:
The whole of Hort Park has many beautiful picture-taking spots with lush greenery and beautiful flowers. Some notable places include:
- 1.Therapeutic garden and Orchid garden for children and the elderly.
- 2.Balinese garden, a favorite for newly wed shoots.
Best route to follow -
Upon entering the garden, take any of the various routes to explore the different gardens of the park. FYI; there are no monkeys in this park.
Best Spot to relax:
Visitor center, Hands-on House and Therapeutic garden are the best places to relax at Hort Park.
Best nearby place to have breakfast:
Vineyard, Canopy and RakeSpade are decent places to dine at Hort Park. Drinks and snacks are also available in vending machines across the park.

Our views:
Several tracks have many stairs and hills which are good for cardiovascular exercise.
There are plenty of benches and huts to sit down and relax.
Tips:
- Bring a stick along to get a true feel of hiking up the hills and stairs
- The most optimal time to visit is early in the morning so you can experience the ambient atmosphere of the morning mist and clouds. Visiting in the evening is also a great experience
